How to clean ceramic floors?

Vacuuming and sweeping go some way toward collecting all the dirt and debris that gathers up on the floor, but that is usually never enough. To finish the job, these floors need to be cleaned with a high-quality ceramic tile floor cleaners in Panama.

Caring for and cleaning hard surface floors seems like a never-ending, persistent job. Daily, such floors gather dirt and debris from an open window, collect whatever the soles of the shoes bring in, and stains from various spills that occur.

We all wish for one amazing all-rounder product that can take care of all stains on every type of flooring, but that isn’t the case in reality. While some floor cleaners can be used for multiple types of flooring, it is important to understand that what keeps hardwood floors shiny may not work for ceramic tile floors.

There are different types of cleaners depending on the area of installation.

For daily cleaning, a gentle cleanser is required. However, if the joints or ceramic is very dirty or stained, it is important to consider the type of stain and the type of tile.

Ceramic Tile Floor Cleaners in Panama

Ceramic tile floors look elegant and clean when they are taken care of. They are relatively easy to manage, and the tiles are resistant to staining. The tiles also last for decades and do not scratch easily.

Some tips for cleaning ceramic floor tiles:

  • Do not clean porcelain tile flooring with ammonia or with cleaners that contain bleach and/or acid. Acid and ammonia-based cleaners may modify grout colour and product stability
  • Use a cleaner that is pH neutral. This ensures cleaning will not harm your grout or surrounding surfaces.
  • Do not use wax or oil-based ceramic tile floor cleaners in Panama.
  • Use rugs at entrances to prevent dirt and grit from being tracked onto the tile flooring from outdoors. Tiles are scratch resistant but not scratchproof.
  • Do not use steel wool or other abrasive pads to remove tough debris or stains. Steel wool may scratch your tiles and loose steel particles may eventually create rust stains in the grout over time.

Ceramic Hob Cleaner

Flat ceramic hob surfaces are much easier to clean than solid-plates or gas burners. However, despite the flat, wipe-clean surface, spills and stains still get baked on making it nearly impossible to bring back the shine.

There are two main reasons to keep your ceramic hob clean:

  • Regular cleaning will remove bacteria and germs that may contaminate your food. When cooking, we spill things, pans boil over and you will be handling implements, handles and food. This increases the chances of cross contamination. If you are cooking with high-risk foods like chicken, which can contain e-coli and salmonella, it is extremely easy to contaminate your ceramic hob.
  • Regular cleaning will extend the lifetime and efficiency of your hobs. Spilt food dries on and boiled over liquids leave behind starchy residue. If left, this can build up, reducing how effectively the rings heat and shortening the lifetime of your ceramic hob.

When choosing a ceramic hob cleaner, you want to avoid those with plastic microparticles or other particles added to be abrasive.
